Job Shadow Program

Job Shadow Opportunities, tailored specifically for eighth graders in our tight-knit rural community, leverage the numerous businesses and organizations in our area. Piloted during the 2023-2024 school year, CSC’s Job Shadow Program aims to provide students with a unique and invaluable opportunity to explore various career paths by connecting with local businesses and organizations.

In our community-focused initiative, we believe in the power of hands-on experience and mentorship to inspire these eighth graders towards future success. By partnering with local entities, we create a bridge between classroom learning and real-world application. Students have the chance to spend a trimester shadowing professionals in their desired fields, gaining insights into daily responsibilities, industry nuances, and the skills required for success.

This program not only broadens horizons but also nurtures a sense of community pride, encouraging Park County youth to envision a future where their talents contribute meaningfully to the local workforce.
